Are you moving your schedule around when the kids are going to be home? Or maybe you’ve said that you don’t have time because the boys are around? Can I say that I have let my voicemail take the call when I’ve been out with the family. This may be appropriate in some scenarios but, for the most part, we may be using our kids as an excuse to not take action.
I know that I used to do that with our boys. It was crushing my business and the entire Krivda Family Vision. There is a solution, below are the 4 Tips that I used to actually use the scenario to my advantage.
Tip #1: Include Your Children
It’s difficult as a child to understand why mommy or daddy don’t spend time with them. Left to their own thoughts may cause them to feel that it’s their own fault. It is our responsibility to talk with them and let them in on the Vision you are creating for your family. Chances are they are in it, let them know what it is.
Let them know that there are going to be times that you are going to be working during family time. Also, let them know the most important part to this section. That it’s not going to last forever and that vision is going create a life where time will no longer be an issue. They will get it. Our kids are smart.
In the Video Below, we discuss how prospecting with our children around will be to your advantage. Tips #2 – #4 will rock your socks off.
Imagine if we all followed these tips, what our children will be when they grow up. Most of us were taught to go to school, get good grades and all that however most of us weren’t taught how to create a vision and generate an income over and above trading time of money.
