When it comes to picking up the phone, there are a few things that go through your mind.
1. I wonder what they are going to say.
2. I hope they don’t say no.
3. Hope they don’t judge me.
Side note #1: If you are being judged by the person your prospect, it has nothing to do with you. You are being judged or placed in a category due to other’s in your prospects past history – it’s nothing personal.
If you are anything like the way I used to be, you are concerned about being asked questions that you don’t the answers to or the harsh objections that tend to be viciously thrown around.
Side note #2: If someone is asking you a lot of questions that you don’t know the answers to, say this. “If I get you the answers to these questions, is it going to be what you need to get started today” This will bring account accountability to your person.
Objections are there for two reasons. One, to throw you off your game or Two, to hide their own lack of confidence. Either way, it’s cool.
