Monday Motivation – Your Best Motivation Quotes 8

Last night I was eating dinner with Danielle and the boys. I looked over at my oldest and he looked exhausted or at least that’s what I thought. We asked if he was tired and he said no. Of course the next question is “Are you okay?”  Being a parent, his response was pretty cool. He said “I’m a little sad that the weekend is over” As much as our boys love sports camp, all they want to do is hang out with us.

We took the opportunity to talk to them both about living in the moment and being present with the current. That worrying about the future, typically won’t change it. The worry mostly only affects what is going on in the present.

I’m aware that Sunday late afternoon/early evenings aren’t the most exciting hours of the week. However, some good words of encouragement can affect how the rest of the work week goes. How does Monday morning sit with you?

Excellent perspective you gave your son in your discussion with him. Really gives him the opportunity to see the bigger picture by enjoying the now.

Also particularly resonated with the quote from Albert Schweitzer. Thanks Steve.
