I help a lot of people with their businesses, the first thing I always ask is “What’s your biggest obstacle with your home business” The answer is always the same…Lead Generation.
Here are some Lead Generation Ideas I have used that produce leads every time.
Lead Generation Idea 1
Your warm market: I have to say, this is the biggest pool of leads that people miss. It frustrates me to see this wonderful resource pass by. We tend to pre-judge our friends…”They don’t have any money” “I don’t think they will like it” “I don’t want to offend them” and on and on and on. I have three personal friends that dabbled in network marketing for years, never really making too much money. Well, one got into my primary company, asked another (who was broke) who in turn asked the third person. All three are NOW making over $10,000 per month. Ask your warm market, worst thing that can happen is, They say NO, to your opportunity…not to you but your opportunity.
Lead Generation Idea 2
Facebook: “I don’t want to use Facebook because I don’t want my friends to think I am “That guy” or “That girl”. That’s a silly excuse, sorry to say. All you have to use it tact, it’s not hard at all. Build relationships and work the opportunity into the conversation. It’s very easy. Look at it this way, there are 800 million people on Facebook. Think there are enough people for everyone to share? If you want free training on how to use Facebook, click here.
Craigslist: Craigslist is a pretty cool place for leads. It’s one of the places I pick up leads. Understand this, the leads picked up on craigslist can be a little sketchy. This is not a bad thing, you will come upon some pretty cool rejections, pretty funny stuff. That being said, I have recruited quite a few people from craigslist. Knowing how to put up your ads is incredibly important.
Lead Generation Idea 4
Face to Face Marketing: What’s that hahaha. Face to face marketing is incredibly affective. Again, you have to understand how to do it. This is not the explanation of a life time. Just like online you aren’t a presenter, just a information gatherer. This means you get to know something about them, ask them “if they are open to a side project that wouldn’t interfere with what they are currently doing and gather their information. Then send them a presentation. Here’s an example. I was in Wendy’s the other night with my buddy Ron, he turns to the guy next to him and within a few minutes, he has his name, number and email address.
Those are 4 Lead Generation Ideas, pretty cool right? All of these strategies work, guaranteed. YOU have to do it. They don’t work all on their own.
