Law of Attraction and Christianity

law-of-attractionLaw of Attraction and Christianity

This is such a controversial subject that it’s avoided by most people. I get that to a certain extent. Especially since it has to do with things that we can’t explain.
There doesn’t need to be a disconnect.

I talk about the movie The Secret, The Bible, God and the universe.

I fully believe that we were put on this Earth to live an abundant, awesome life. If that’s the case, we just need to make a decision to live that life.

I’m going to give it away, you just need to watch the video, LOL. You will notice that I say
Law of Attraction and Christianitynot VS

Pretty wild right? So, when you are having your thoughts, think good things.
Have thoughts of abundance, have positive thoughts and know that good things
are coming to you.
Here’s the absolutely worse thing that will happen…You’ll feel better.
I appreciate you for being here with me on this.

Wow Steve what a great topic! One that I struggle with actually. It's hard to talk to friends of faith about the Law of Attraction. What you said was so perfect. I completely agree with you. When you find some people who agree it's exciting! Some day we will get to chat about this 🙂

Hey, Steve, loved your video! I spend a lot of time thinking this. Your reasoning is sound, and I agree with you completely, even though I love God more than I love religion. Thanks so much for sharing!

Awesome topic! I agree completely that God wants us to live abundantly. But we have to work for it. He blesses us with opportunities to work and teaches us how to think but it’s up to us to see it and believe it and live by faith.

Because of what I believe about God as a perfect being I also believe that he lives in perfect harmony with the Laws of Nature and wants us to do the same. I see the Law of attraction as one of those Laws of nature. You’ve tapped into one if my passions Steve.

Some people like to blame God for the bad things that happen in their life. These are the same people who cry out "God help me!" when they are in utter despair. What's up with their life in between? Our God is a good God and He wants to give us the things that will make us happy. He just wants us to totally believe and totally love HIM… all the time. The Law of Attraction is God's way of bringing us closer to Him. Believe it!
    Great video, Steve. Thanks!

I totally get what you are saying here, Steven. You did a great job of expressing it. I think the key is the relationship you have with God which aligns your thinking with His will so it is compatible. For others, maybe not because their thinking, though positive, is not in alignment with that. Not that anyone is perfect at it but we do have the constant pull toward that alignment.

This looks like something I'll want to read and absorb. I'll comment again later, after I've done so.

Actually there needn't be any controversy at all. Scripture is very clear about this. If that ruffles feathers, call it a natural law if you wish; but the the "correlation" is absolutely verified through observations too numerous to count.

I'll add one additional comment. Regardless of how one may view the validity of the Bible and it's origins, consider this: the Bible was written a very, very long time ago, yet the guidance and advice on achieving success in life is completely applicable today. In fact, the "correlation" between scriptural guidance/advice and most if not all of today's personal and success development materials is just about 100%. So somewhere in the past somebody knew what we needed to know today to become more tomorrow than we are today.

The key to an abundant life in my heart is to have faith ,and to love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your strength. Make no mistake this is the way and truth. Put Jesus first and he will bless you abundantly, how sweet it is.
