How To Stay Motivated On Sucky Days


At the time of me writing this, it’s Monday afternoon… Crash time. It happened to me today. In fact, I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. Danielle was going to work after the weekend and the boys were going to school. Though it rocks to stay home and create my own schedule, staying motivated after “playing” most of the weekend, isn’t easy. Ya fall into “Suckville”. If you want to know how to stay motivated, you sometimes have to look inside.

What typically happens is, we work a prolonged 1-2 weeks straight, take a few days off and feel as if we have lost momentum. As that happens, the self defeating talk starts- “I was doing so good, I can’t believe how far behind I am now” and so on.
These phrases will only one thing, stop you from taking action. We get the ‘oh well’ mentality. Oh well, I gave it a try. Literally using this as an excuse to stay out of action.

It’s a special person to wake up each day, on a mission, jump into action and run full force all day, every day. If that’s you, awesome, you’re in the top 2%. There is a component that we’ll covered, that if followed correctly, you may enter the 2%.

Typically what’s missing is a plan of action. Not a daily mode of action, an actual plan that’s created by you to follow, first thing in the morning. Something small that you can do to gain that sense of accomplishment. This will release chemicals in your brain that makes you feel good. Once you feel good, you’ll look for more. It can be quite addicting.
