Handling Objections – 4 Examples
If you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing with your home business, you’ll get objections. It’s impossible to get a yes every single time. The cool thing about an objection, it’s typically not about you. Where most come from is a place of “I don’t think I can do it”. Here are a few examples and I’ll add the real ending.
Those things don’t work because “I don’t think I can do it”
Nobody ever makes money in them and “I don’t think I can do it”
Seems great but it’s not for me because “I don’t think I can do it”
I don’t have the time because “I don’t think I can do it”
The truth is, most feel security in their jobs. I totally get that and how can you blame anyone or thinking that. We are programmed from a child to get good grades so we can get a good job and retire around 65+/- years old.
The problem with this is, most people want more but aren’t willing to take whatever minimal risk it would be to start their own home business. The other issue with this business model of relying on a job is, the median household income clears just over $3,000 per month. That’s not enough to live on.
Imagine if you put in a few hours a week for yourself to build and in 6-10 months, you had an addition $300-$500 per month coming in? That’s enough to start getting ahead or even take the family on a vacation or two a year.
Why did I mention the last two paragraphs in this Objection Handling article? We need to look at other people’s lives objectively to be sure we are serving them and not looking to make a buck. It will make handling those objections much more sincere.
