Embarrassed By Your Video Content Creation Skills? Here’s What To Do

Embarrassed By Your Video Content Creation Skills?
Video Content Creation

When was the last time you shot a video with one take? I remember a time when it would take me hours to create a 3-4 minute video. I would get distracted by the air coming on, forget what I was talking about and / or realize that I had been rambling for about 90 seconds. So, what did I do? The same thing that everyone else does when this happens. Start Over!

It can be very frustrating creating videos, especially when you’re a perfectionist. You start with an idea, stop, start again and the more you go, the more frustration. As the frustration grows, the words get more jumbled. The only thing to do at this point is to step away for a bit and gather your thoughts, grab a bite to eat or go to the bathroom and play with your phone. Cause some sort of pattern interrupt.

Part of the issue with video content creation is we go in unprepared. If I told you to drive down to the convenience store, you would have no problem doing it. Because you’ve done it hundreds of times before. The first time though, nervous nellys haha.

While you’re practicing to be a video guru, you’ll need a few things lined up for yourself. In the Video Below, I outline 3 tips to kick up your video content creation like a pro.

Once you have that down, you can rock your videos. On a side note, keep an eye on your time. Unless your spit balling massive value the entire time, it might be a good idea to keep your video under 5 minutes. I’ve spoken to many marketers who check the length of the video and if it’s too long, the won’t give it a chance.

Great points. I don’t know why but the video and audio weren’t together. It’s probably just my internet connection but I wanted you to know. I guess I’m on the right track cause I try to do all those things daily. I did get a couple of great tips though.
