Do you have a yearning to serve your industry? To bring value to those around you to help them succeed in whatever niche you’re in? It’s important to bring servanthood into any business you decide to take on. Now that you’re looking to create a brand for yourself, where do you start? Most have a general idea of who to speak to, however, general is Not going to cut it.
In speaking with a number of marketers that want to create their own website blog, their niche’s include: From people who want to lose weight, to struggling network marketers, to people looking to save money on travel and to people who want to be healthy.
To be honest, those are great niches. Unfortunately, there’s a great chance that you won’t reach anyone. The market that’s looking to be reached here is too broad. The typical thought is to keep the numbers high to reach as many people as possible. By keeping your net to wide, too many are going to slip through the holes.
It’s a good idea to narrow down your reach to a small percentage of a larger niche. In other words, it’s a better idea to focus in on reaching a smaller niche and serve them to the best of your ability and grow from there. You’ll have a better chance of reaching those you’re looking to speak to.
Taking the other route is like throwing a hook in the ocean with random bait looking to catch a specific fish.
Here are a couple examples to narrow down the above examples:
Lose Weight and Healthy Seekers:
While most people would love to lose a few pounds, you have a niche that you’re going to identify with.
Moms after their second child.
Parents who work full time.
Teenagers looking to tone up for High School.
Struggling Network Marketers:
Stats show that most marketers struggle…but, why?
Marketers with a low budget.
Focus on a specific age bracket.
Focus on a gender.
Saving Money On Travel:
Shoot, everyone wants to save money on travel…
Staycations on a budget.
Best hidden destinations.
Best family destinations.
Once we become specific we serve all. Create your own website blog with a specific person to talk to and you’ll serve more, become a rockstar and by result, create the income you’re looking for.
