Article Content Creation – 4 Great Tips

Article Content Creation – 4 Great Tips

We all have our own writing skills and we need to keep with our own style. That being said, there are some practices we should follow when venturing into content creation. You want to be able to keep your reader’s attention and get your point across at the same time. I took the time to jot down a few easy tips that will make your articles more attractive to your readers.grammar2

1. Grammar

I put this one first, since I believe this is something that a lot of people miss as they are writing. Most are in such a hurry to get their content out there that the article is full of mistakes. For me personally, I don’t get too caught up in the way the sentence is written but, I have read some blogs that were hard to follow. Please use proper spelling, punctuation and sentence structure. There are some that, this will take them right off your blog.

2. Writing in Second Person

You are writing the article and chances are you are writing from experience and/or a new education. I don’t want to take that away from anyone but, keep in mind that you are trying to connect with your reader. Writing about yourself all the time will, eventually turn people off. Using “you”, “your” and “yourself” will put your reader right in the article with you.

3. Don’t Dilly Dally

Get to the point for crying out loud. As marketers and writers we tend to think we have to have long winded story with every point we are making. This is totally not the case. Going straight the point of the article will make it a quick read and bring your readers back because they know what they are going to get.

4. Keep It Short

Your article doesn’t have to be 1,000+ word essay. You can get your point across in 300-500 words. If you can’t get it done in that amount, don’t be afraid to make it a series. Those are real cool… you can let each part come out on a different day.

That about raps it up. Writing can be lots of fun, which is kind of funny since I did so poorly in English Class haha.

I hope you got some value out of that. If so, let me know.
