3 Ways We Handle Rejections

Handling Rejection
handle rejection

Let’s be real here for a moment, you probably made a list when you entered the industry, right? Maybe two… One for the people that you thought would be cool with the idea and be a possible yes and another for those you either don’t want to talk to, would judge or flat our reject you.

It’s important to know that most people do this. The question is, why do we care so much. It’s just a matter of presented information and collecting a decision. I think that the issue isn’t really the asking part, the decision part. Being able to handle rejection and the way we handle it can change how and who we approach.

In the Video Below, we discuss the 3 ways we handle rejection. I think you’ll get a kick out of it and maybe get some value…

I know that I’ve done all three in the past. Notice what all three had in common.

I used to take rejection very personal. Then I realized they weren't rejecting me, they were rejecting my offer. So I got to work on tweaking my offer so they couldn't reject it. 🙂

Hey Steven! Loved this post. You really know how to discipline yourself in your disappointments. I came to the realization that they weren't saying "no" to me, but they are not ready yet to make a change.
